Bosvena Health Is Upgrading Our Telephone System to Surgery Connect

At Bosvena Health, we’re committed to improving the care and service we provide at every step. That’s why we’re excited to share that on Wednesday 27th August, we will begin moving to a brand-new telephone system: Surgery Connect.

This system has been designed specifically for GP practices, helping us to provide a more efficient, reliable, and patient-friendly service when you contact the surgery.

What This Means for You

  1. Reduced Waiting Times
More calls can be answered quickly, even during our busiest times, thanks to advanced queuing and call distribution.

  2. Call-Back Feature
Instead of waiting on hold, you’ll be able to request a call back while keeping your place in the queue. If you miss our call, returning the call will prioritise you back into the system (except if you use a withheld number).

  3. 24/7 Self-Service for Appointments
You’ll be able to check or cancel upcoming appointments without waiting for a receptionist, freeing up appointments for other patients if you need to reschedule.

  4. Enhanced Security and Compliance
Surgery Connect fully supports NHS standards for data security and confidentiality, ensuring your information remains safe.

  5. Better Appointment Management
Our reception team will have improved tools to manage appointments efficiently, making it easier for you to book, change, or confirm your care.

When Will This Happen?

The switchover will take place on Wednesday 27th August 2025. We don’t expect any disruption to our service.

You will still be able to contact us in the same way, using the same existing practice phone numbers.

We’re confident this change will make your experience of contacting Bosvena Health smoother, quicker, and more convenient.

Thank you for your support as we continue to improve our services.
