From October 2025, new NHS changes will make it easier for patients to contact their GP practice by phone, online, or in person—with a focus on improving access, reducing the 8am rush, and making care more joined-up. At Bosvena Health, we already use an online system called Klinik to help you request appointments, medication, or admin help. These tools will soon need to be available throughout our normal opening hours for routine requests only. Urgent requests may be limited by capacity with a different method of contacting the practice. Other healthcare professionals (like community pharmacists) will be able to see your records—with your permission—to help improve care.
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) have been actively involved in designing a survey around online access and together we will review the results.
We want to use our resources in the best way possible, and that means hearing from you. Please take a few minutes to share your views on Klinik, local urgent care options, and what matters most to you when it comes to accessing GP services. Your feedback will help us plan future improvements. Thank-you!
